Eggheads

The BBC2 quiz show “Eggheads” is looking for a team of academics to challenge the Eggheads in the next series.

Eggheads is a game in which a challenger team of five members of the public face a team of general knowledge experts – selected from a group of highly-regarded quiz and game show champions - and try to beat them for a cash prize. When the Eggheads win, the money rolls over to the next show.

Each challenger team consists of five team members and one standby.

Should a team be successful in the application process, filming will take place between November 29 and December 7 (including weekends).

The producers of the programme will be holding auditions in the coming weeks across the country so anyone interested should apply as soon as possible. Initially they need only one application per team.

There are nine possible subject categories: Arts & Books, Film & Television, Food & Drink, Geography, History, Music, Politics, Science and Sport.

For further information, contact Andrew Chambers on 0141 427 2643.   Here is the Eggheads Application form.  (Word Document)
