U21 student winners

Six of the University's students have won funding to support overseas travel as ambassadors for Glasgow.
Congratulations to the following students, who have won funded places to attend two U21 student conferences this summer:
U21 Summer School University of New South Wales (UNSW), 2- 17 July 2014, Shaping the Future City

U21 Undergraduate Research Conference Shanghai Jiao Tong University, 7-11 July, Food Safety: From farm to table
- Jonna Aitta, BSc. Molecular and Cellular Biology with Plant Science
- Ellen Docherty, BAcc. with Spanish
- Daniel Patterson, MA Philosophy and Politics
The standard of applications was very high this year, and the above students submitted considered responses to the conference topics, as well as demonstrating their commitment as excellent ambassadors for the University of Glasgow.
