The Justice-Sentinels are the world's greatest superhero team. Funded by the US government, they are regarded as the first line of response whenever there is a national or global level supervillain threat. Their base is a mansion in Manhattan. The Justice-Sentinels have thwarted Dr. Demoniak's evil plans to conquer the world three times in the past.
The current line-up consists of:
American Eagle is widely regarded as the world’s greatest superhero. He is very experienced, an excellent leader and respected by almost everyone, though the younger generation of heroes view him as straight-laced and conservative. American Eagle is patriotic, brave, heroic and virtuous. He is the second hero to bear this name, the first having fought in World War II. Doc Hazard and American Eagle are old friends. In the seventies, they both worked for SABER.
American Eagle gained his powers from US Army experiments, combining human DNA with that of a super powered warrior alien race, the Valtar. Though most of the volunteers died or were horribly mutated, he became a hybrid even more powerful than a Valtarian.
American Eagle’s daughter inherited a variation of his powers (more speed, less strength) and has joined the team as Turbo.

Dr. Hercules ‘Herc’ Hazard is one of the world’s most brilliant scientists. He is heroic and patriotic but his greatest devotion is to science itself. Doc Hazard loves to explain what he is doing using ‘ten dollar’ words but usually only Rockface can understand him. He has a strong rivalry with Dr. Sorcery, which generally involves arguing about which is better – science or magic. American Eagle and Doc Hazard are old friends. In the seventies, they both worked for SABER. Recently, Doc Hazard has studied Hotshot and believes his energies are extradimensional in origin, actually passing through a spacewarp in or near his body. If this is correct his power may be potentially limitless.
Doc Hazard is extremely creative and has built many fantastic gizmos and gadgets over the years including many of the team’s vehicles and a suit of power armour. This suit cannot be worn all the time as it is an early version and still uncomfortable to wear for prolonged periods.
"If I can’t recalibrate this positronic wave transducer within sixty seconds, we’ll be reduced to our constituent atoms!"
When Dr. Ray ‘Beam’ Randall was exposed to radiation, he underwent a bizarre transformation, changing into a monstrous stone-like being - Rockface!
Rockface is basically a good person but he has become embittered by his transformation. He is surly, bad-tempered and belligerent, particularly towards Hotshot. American Eagle is an exception as Rockface has tremendous respect for his team leader.

Turbo is the daughter of American Eagle. She is extremely positive, friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic, continually talking and wisecracking. In combat situations she constantly bounces around, dodging her opponents and distracting them with a barrage of jokes and put-downs. Turbo and Hotshot get along particularly well, partly because they are the two youngest team members. The older generation are mostly pretty square (especially her pop).
Her powers are not dissimilar to her father’s but with more emphasis on speed and agility, less on strength and toughness. She often uses her powers for fun and to do cool shit, like hitting a baseball then running at super speed to catch it.

Hotshot is the youngest, least experienced member of the team. He is rash, impetuous, often wisecracks and sometimes acts irresponsibly but beneath it he’s a good kid. Turbo and Hotshot get along well, partly because they are the two youngest team members. The older generation are mostly pretty square.
Hotshot’s powers are the result of a lab accident. He currently lacks control in the use of them but there is potentially limitless energy available (according to Doc Hazard). Hotshot often uses his powers to impress the girls and do cool shit, like lighting cigarettes.

Dr. Sorcery holds the title of Master Mage, the greatest sorcerer on Earth. He has dedicated his life to protecting the world from evil. Wise, mystical and ascetic, his great knowledge and experience leads him to believe that he can, and should, advise others (especially the younger members of the team). Dr. Sorcery has a strong rivalry with Doc Hazard in the area of magic vs. science - which is better?
Dr. Sorcery is actually only an associate member of the team, brought in to advise on (and deal with) magic or any problem for which extra power is required.
