GUSA provide appropriate student led representation for our members and provides effective opportunities for them to take part in sport. Sport provides a great chance to help you lead a balanced, healthy life style. Here at GUSA we know how to live the best of all worlds.
GUSA represents all members involved in:
- Club sport
- Recreational leagues
- Drop-in sessions
- Sport & Recreation courses
- Health & fitness classes
If you have any issues, suggestions or concerns with the services provided by GUSA and the SRS, we are the people who can make your voice heard at a higher level.
Fancy doing something exciting and challenging this summer?
Whether it is:
- Swimming the Channel
- Cycling from Glasgow to the Sahara Desert
- Climbing the National 3 Peak Challenge (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon)
- Rallying through Mongolia
- Completing leadership qualifications
- Volunteering in schools in South Africa
- Or whatever unique and interesting adventure you can come up with
Chancellors Fund could help support you by funding part of your once in a life time sporting adventure!
How to apply:
- Fill out the Chancellors Fund application form (see Chancellors Fund guidelines (pdf)) and
- Return it to gusa-finance@gla.ac.uk by Friday 15 March 2013.

Required availability: Thursday 12 September - Sunday 22 September
Applications deadline: Friday 19 April 2013 at 1700.
How to apply
Download the Freshers' Helper Application Form 2013 (docx), fill it in and hand into the box outside the GUSA office, 62 Oakfield Avenue.
