National Student Survey and league tables

Excellent results have been achieved in the 2014 National Student Survey and other league tables. The Complete University Guide and the Guardian League Tables are quoted as examples.

Dentistry has maintained its position as the highest ranking Dental School in the UK for the fourth consecutive year and was top in the Sunday Times University Guide as well as being identified as a UK centre of excellence.

Nursing and Health Care achieved a very high NSS satisfaction (97% against a sector average of 84%) which was the third highest ranking in the UK  and moved from 5th place to 2nd place in the Complete University Guide and maintained a high ranking in the Guardian League Tables (4th).

Medicine has increased dramatically in the rankings over the last two years, and continues to rise this year to 88% in NSS overall student satisfaction against a sector average of 86% and from 16th place to 6th in the Complete University Guide, an increase of 22 places in two years and a rise from 24th to 17th place in the Guardian League Tables, an increase of 11 places in two years.

These results are a remarkable achievement, and reflect the hard work of many dedicated staff in the School of Medicine.
