The School houses a wide range of analytical equipment in support of research and teaching. Industrial users are also welcome, and should in the first instance contact the School.

  • Levels (Survey grade automatic and digital instruments (Leica NA720 and Sprinter models))
  • Total Stations (Survey grade manual instruments of various specification (Leica TS06plus and TCR805))
  • Laser Scanners (Survey grade terrestrial laser scan, tripod mounted (Leica C10))
  • GNSS (Survey grade positioning systems.Various configurations possible e.g. static, RTK (Various Leica models))
  • Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (fixed wing and multi-rotor)
  • Dedicated learning & teaching computer laboratories comprising various proprietary and open source software packages
