Research interests
Delia is interested in the pedagogy of teaching science and the school curriculum for science. She has recently completed an M.Ed which looked at attitudes to school science.

Consulting and CPD
Delia is currently involved in the development of a new PG Certificate in Primary Science Education, in collaboration with the STEM Ed Centre of the Faculty of Education.
Delia has over many years been a member of the organisation team for the development and management of the PGDE Science residential Even, involving the Universities of Strathclyde, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Paisley and Stirling.
Delia carried out consultancy work for Glasgow and South Lanarkshire Councils, working with Local Authority trainers as part of the Improving Science Education 5-14 initiative.
