Course audience
The course is intended for experienced as well as novice teachers, lecturers and education practitioners who want to know how to evaluate their practice.
Course content/aims
This course will provide an understanding of how we can best present our research findings for various purposes and different audiences. It will focus on how to produce reports that are credible and relevant in order to effectively influence future actions and decision making.
Information about the tutors
Stuart Hall and Kevin Lowden have worked with teachers and schools for over 20 years. They translate theory into simple classroom practice by providing tailored mentoring and training in the use of research methods. Building the capacity of educators to evaluate their own practice has been at the core of much of their activity; helping teachers develop reflective practice and to make changes on the basis of evidence based findings.
