Course audience
The course is intended for experienced as well as novice teachers, lecturers and education practitioners who want to know how to evaluate their practice.
Course content/aims.
This course will look at the major quantitative methods. It will focus in particular on questionnaire survey. This will involve input on questionnaire construction, sampling and analysis using SPSS.
Information about the tutors
Stuart Hall and Kevin Lowden have worked with teachers and schools for over 20 years. They translate theory into simple classroom practice by providing tailored mentoring and training in the use of research methods. Building the capacity of educators to evaluate their own practice has been at the core of much of their activity; helping teachers develop reflective practice and to make changes on the basis of evidence based findings.
