FTIR Spectroscopy: Jasco FTIR 4100
FTIR provides the user with a method by which to rapidly identify molecules and materials by the unique vibrational fingerprint of their functional groups. The Specac attenuated total reflectance (ATR) accessory allows for fast sample characterisation with no preparation necessary, and can be used to analyse powders, liquids, and films. A gas cell and a variety of fluidic cells are also available for use upon request.
The Jasco FR/IR 4100 has a wavenumber measurement range of 7800 to 350 cm-1 and a maximum resolution of 0.7 cm-1. Peak selections and integrations and numerous other functions can be handled with the Spectrum Analysis software.
