Enlightened Leader Executive Programme - scholarships now open

Applications are now open to apply for a scholarship to attend a two-day University of Glasgow Enlightened Leadership Programme in June 2024.

To celebrate the Inaugural ‘Enlightened Leader’ retreat, the University of Glasgow and the Adam Smith Business School has opened the opportunity for the next generation of leaders to apply for a scholarship to attend the two-day University of Glasgow Enlightened Leadership Programme in June 2024.

Are you:

  • Working with, or from, an underserved community in Scotland?
  • Thinking about moving into an executive position and looking to enhance your skills?
  • Wanting an evidence-based, engaging and transformational experience that will help you make that next big step in your career?

Aimed at established senior managers looking to step into significant leadership and C-suite roles in the next three years, the retreat will provide informative and impactful discussion and debate to transform your approach to the most pressing challenges facing leaders today.

The scholarship covers the full cost of program fees, accommodation and travel. 

Eligibility

  • Applicants must work in Scotland and serve a Scottish community.
  • Those working with or from underserved communities are eligible to apply. This includes priority populations such as:
    • women
    • LGBTQ+
    • culturally and linguistically diverse people
    • people experiencing or having experienced homelessness or from care-experienced backgrounds
    • people with a disability
    • people living or working in regional and remote areas.
  • Be available to fully commit to the two-day Enlightened Leader Programme from 12 -13 June 2024

Entries must be received by 5pm on Thursday, 26 April 2024.

Applications are open to all who fit with the eligible criteria. We particularly welcome submissions from those from groups and communities currently underrepresented in executive and leadership positions, and those working in non-governmental and third sector organisations.
