DIRECTIONS

SUERC is approximately 10 miles south-east of Glasgow and is situated on the Scottish Enterprise Technology Park at the Birniehill Roundabout, East Kilbride.

By Car

• From the North/South - Leave the M74 at Junction 5 on to the A725. Continue along the A725 to the Whirlies roundabout. Then take the second exit (Kingsway) towards the town centre. Continue to the end of Kingsway to the Birniehill roundabout.
• From the East - Leave the A8 (M8) West bound at Coatbridge/Shawhead and take A725. Continue along the A725 to the Whirlies roundabout. Then take the second exit (Kingsway) towards the town centre. Continue to the end of Kingsway to the Birniehill roundabout.
• From the Airport/West - Follow the A726 through Paisley and Clarkston to East Kilbride and continue along Queensway to the Birniehill roundabout.

By Train

Trains from Glasgow Central Station for East Kilbride leave approximately every 30 minutes (more frequently at peak times) with a journey time of about 30 minutes. SUERC is about 20 minutes walk or a 5 minute taxi journey from the station.  Taxis usually meet incoming trains or can be pre-booked from EK TOA (01355) 266666 or Kelvin Kabs (01355) 241212.

By Bus

There are several buses from Glasgow West End/City Centre to East Kilbride. The no. 6, 18 or 21 bus will bring you close to the Scottish Enterprise Technology Park, with SUERC approximately 10-15 minutes walk from the bus stop. The buses take different routes through the city centre.  Check the SPT website for more information.

By Air

Glasgow International Airport is approximately 15 miles from SUERC. Airport taxis are expensive and we would suggest booking a taxi with an East Kilbride taxi company - Kelvin Kabs (01355) 241212 or EK TOA (01355) 266666. The company will ask for your flight details and you will need to contact them once you are through Arrivals.

Prestwick Airport is approximately 23 miles from SUERC and has a regular train service to Glasgow Central.
