The Scottish Centre for Research on Social Justice will be launched at The University of Glasgow on Monday 1 July 2002. The focus of the event will be an address by the First Minister, Mr Jack McConnell MSP, on 'Social Justice in Scotland'.

The Faculty of Education at the University of Glasgow will hold a 'Citizenship Day' on Tuesday 11 June, aimed at final year student teachers. Included in the programme will be contributions from politicians, educationalists, charities and asylum seekers.
In the next magic seminar, to be held on Friday 7 June, John Gager of Princeton University will give a presentation entitled, 'Was Jesus a Purveyor of Spells?: The Role of Curse Tablets and
