Learn more about how world-leading health innovation facility will translate research into practice
We are delighted to share the launch of the trailblazing Living Laboratory’s website and twitter channel @UofGLivingLab, supported by the UKRI Strength in Places Fund alongside substantial funds from public and private partners.
Harnessing the power of collaboration among academia, healthcare and industry, the Living Laboratory is translating cutting-edge science and healthcare innovation into real-world clinical settings to improve health outcomes, deliver savings for the NHS and drive economic development in Govan, Glasgow and beyond.
Located within the University of Glasgow’s Clinical Innovation Zone at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, the Living Laboratory expands upon Glasgow’s award-winning precision medicine industry cluster, offering a vibrant and supportive ecosystem that facilitates real-world testing of healthcare innovations in state-of-the-art facilities. This project enhances direct routes to implement world-leading research into innovations for the commercial market, realising the real-world impact of research, and supports companies to develop and commercialise, attracting new precision medicine industry to Govan and Glasgow.
The Living Laboratory offers an outstanding opportunity for partners to collaborate, co-develop and accelerate precision medicine research and innovations into healthcare and enhance our ambitious vision in an internationally significant precision medicine cluster.
