US students visit with social media project

Five students from the University of Connecticut are visiting Glasgow looking at how international students use social media.
Last week we welcomed 5 graduate students to campus from the University of Connecticut's Higher Education and Student Affairs programme.
Ty, Em, Jackie, Caroline and Eileen are working on a social media project for us with a focus on how international students use social media platforms.
The group have shared their insights from across the Atlantic and are now busy carrying out research and focus groups with current students from our target recruitment markets. Their research will help form part of our international social media strategy and we look forward to hearing their recommendations before they head back to the States.
