University marketing forum launched

Published: 6 June 2014

Are you employed in marketing for the University or is marketing a part of your job? If so – Communications Office would like to hear from you.

Would you like to connect with other members of staff involved in marketing, share best practice and hear from experts about the latest developments in the sector?

Marketing Forum As part of the Marketing Communications Strategy, the Communications Office is proposing to set up a University-wide marketing forum. Members of the forum would meet quarterly, with a first meeting in early September.

The first meeting will:

  • discuss the findings and opportunities presented by the reputation messaging framework that has been developed by Tayburn in collaboration with staff across the University
  • explore how the marketing forum will work and what topics/speakers would interest members.

We are currently gathering information on whether there is an appetite among staff for such a development. If you would be interested in attending, we would like to hear from you.

Please register your interest by emailing katy.mcnair@glasgow.ac.uk by noon on Friday 13 June.
