New International Dean: East Asia

Professor Jane Duckett, Edward Caird Chair of Politics and the Director of the Confucius Institute has accepted the post of International Dean: East Asia.

I am delighted to inform you that Professor Jane Duckett, Edward Caird Chair of Politics and the Director of the Confucius Institute has accepted the post of International Dean: East Asia.

Jane will now take over responsibility for this region and I am looking forward to working closely with Jane in order to deliver the University’s internationalisation strategy in this area.  I am sure that you will all want to join me in congratulating Jane on this new and important role.

I should also like to take this opportunity to thank the previous International Dean, Professor Jonathan Cooper for all his hard work and commitment to the role.
