An Interfaith Service of Welcome and Friendship was held to mark the arrival of the XX Commonwealth Games to Glasgow and Scotland, writes Mandy Evans Ewing, the University's acting Chaplain.

An Interfaith Service of Welcome and Friendship was held to mark the arrival of the XX Commonwealth Games to Glasgow and Scotland, writes Mandy Evans Ewing, the University's acting Chaplain.

‌‌‌‌‌It was a wonderful event bringing together so many different people and faiths from across the Commonwealth of nations.

Here we share some of the pictures and once again thank everyone for their fellowship, contribution and attendance. As we said then, and say again, may we uphold the values of the Commonwealth: Equality, Diversity and Destiny and may we fondly remember the healthy competition and happy co-operation. Go well, go in love and go in peace everyone.
