Dr Claudia Geue

Programme Director

Claudia’s research interests include the application of econometric techniques to analyse routinely collected health data to answer research questions of socio-economic and geographical patterning of healthcare utilisation and related expenditure. She has been involved in a large number of projects evaluating the impact of public health interventions and also carrying out economic evaluations alongside clinical trials.

Eleanor Grieve

Programme Director

Eleanor's research interests include economic evaluation of public health and complex interventions, both trial-based and using decision analytic modelling. Eleanor leads HEHTA’s Global HTA research theme. She has previously worked with various NGOs in international development. She currently works on projects assisting on health economic evaluations of public health interventions.

Professor Jim Lewsey

Professor of Medical Statistics

Professor Lewsey has conducted research which evaluates public health interventions using (controlled) interrupted time series designs, alcohol research and decision analytic modelling using individual patient data. Jim develops, translates, and applies cutting-edge methodologies to his research, including synthetic controls, instrumental variable analysis and multi-state survival analysis modelling. He also leads the Analysis of Linked Health Data (ALDA) programme within HEHTA and is lead of the IHW research theme ‘Data Science – Using routine administrative data and record linkage for research’.
