Update February 2021 BDS Dentistry
The Scottish Government has now announced that graduation for students at Dundee and Glasgow Dental Schools will be deferred until summer 2022, with all current year groups repeating the 2020-21 academic year. This is due to COVID-19 restrictions significantly reducing the clinical training opportunities for students during the 2020/2021 academic year.
All applicants who interviewed for September 2021 entry into the BDS at Glasgow will receive a final decision on their interview by 20th May 2021. However, it is now necessary to defer entry of those offered a place to September 2022. There will be no intake of new students in September 2021. University of Glasgow BDS Dentistry applicants who were interviewed have been contacted directly by our Dental School to advise them.
