Arran Reading Weekend

Every year Scottish Literature embarks on a trip across the Firth of Clyde to the isle of Arran, one of Scotland's most adored islands. Often branded 'Scotland in miniature', there's loads to do and see in Arran. Please do keep an ear to the ground for news on when the next trip is taking place, though we do flag this to students of all levels in semester 1. Traditionally we set sail in February (ie. during the second semester of the academic year). Ask around about it and we're sure you will want to come along. We do our best to keep the cost to you, the student, as low as possible. We can guarantee a great deal for your money!

Each student prepares a short presentation on a subject of their choice (relative to the subject in some way), there's an open mic, good food, music, walks on the beach, and trips round the island to see some of the sights! Here are some photos to get you interested...
