One Health at Glasgow
Glasgow is an international leader in One Health research.
We seek to improve human and animal health by understanding the complex biological and social, economic, political and environmental contexts in which these interlocking health issues exist.
We address international and national One Health questions through our interdisciplinary collaborations. Researchers from human and veterinary clinical medicine are closely integrated with life scientists and social and physical scientists to deliver world-changing research. We work both across the Global South with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa, particularly Tanzania and Malawi, as well as in Scotland and the rest of the UK.
One Health is also represented at undergraduate and postgraduate level with several progammes containing a One Health component, in addition to our specialist One Health MSc.
