Introduction to Excel
One full day or 2 half days
Learn how to use spreadsheets and manipulate spreadsheet data, build and revise formulae, sort and print data and much more using Microsoft Excel 2010. A thorough familiarity of Windows environment required.

Excel: Datalists, PivotTables and more
2 half days
Find out how to use data lists and Pivot tables to extract, manipulate and analyse information in Excel 2010. Familiarity with Windows and a working knowledge of Excel, as found in the Introduction to Excel course, is required.
This course contains material relevant to ECDL module 4
Excel: Graphs and Charts
1 Half day
On successful completion of this course participants will be able to create and edit Graphs and Charts using Excel 2010. Basic knowledge of Windows required.
Going Further with Spreadsheets
2 x 2 hours
Add to your knowledge of Excel in this 2x2 hour course. Use search techniques, Goal seek and Scenarios, interpret spreadsheet charts, use a spreadsheet as a simple database. A working knowledge of Excel, as found in the Introduction to Excel course, is required.

Introduction to Access
Full day
In this one day session delegates will find out about tables and table relationships in Access 2010, use forms and reports, Access Wizards and Query-By-Example to retrieve data. Familiarity with computing and the Windows environment required.
This course contains material relevant to ECDL module 5
Databases with Access (Introductory)
2 x 2 hours
This course includes many of the topics listed in the Introduction to Access course above, only condensed into 2 sessions of 2 hours instead of a full day. Familiarity with computing and the Windows environment required.

Introduction to Minitab
Full day
Understand some of the key features in the Minitab statistics application, including data types and organisation, parametric and non-parametric hypothesis tests and graphical representation of data. Familiarity with computing and a knowledge of statistical procedures required.
Introduction to SPSS
Full day
SPSS is a statistical package particularly suited to social science and survey data. Delegates will learn about the variety of user interfaces, data and command files, graphical representation of data and the philosophy behind the package. A familiarity of computing and statistical procedures required.
Introduction to Excel 2010 (Moodle)

This guide to Excel 2010 will take you through the basics of entering and editing data, performing calculations on data, using functions and creating charts. It will also demonstrate the importance of cell reference when performing calculations and using functions.
