In this session delegates will learn how to quickly create an effective presentation using the new features and themes available in PowerPoint 2010. Presentation tips and information on producing speakers notes and audience handouts will also be covered. Some knowledge of computing and Windows environment required.

Apply some of the advanced features available in PowerPoint 2010 to your presentation, including Themes, Slide Masters, Hyperlinks, Action Buttons and more. Information on file size, compression and general good practice are also covered. Previous experience, such as obtained in the Introduction to PowerPoint course is required.
This course contains material relevant to ECDL module 6 and ECDL Advanced Module 6
In this half day session delegates will learn how to use sound and video clips in PowerPoint 2010 presentations, as well as publishing slides for viewing on the web. Familiarity with PowerPoint, as in the Introduction to PowerPoint course is required.

Online courses
This course is suitable for students with no prior knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint but does assume students have some computing experience and familiarity of the Microsoft Windows environment.
This course is intended for students who already have a basic level of competence with Microsoft PowerPoint. Note that the IT Services also runs an introductory course in PowerPoint.
This course is suitable for students who have already attended the Introduction to PowerPoint course or who have acquired the equivalent experience in using PowerPoint. Familiarity of the Microsoft Windows Environment is also required.
