About the IT Baseline

The IT Baseline course provides students and staff with the essential IT skills necessary to progress in their studies or workplace. On applying, you will be asked to complete an IT needs analysis which will recommend the type of course most suitable for you, and direct you through the process of signing up online.

Effective file management in Windows 7

Half a day



In this introductory course, delegates will learn about the main features of Windows 7 and how to effectively manage files and folders using Windows Explorer. No previous IT experience required.

Standard IT

Online resources intended for those who already have many of the skills they need to meet the baseline but feel they need the full range (or may even feel the need some revision). The Online resources is one of several routes to achieving the IT Baseline.
