About your GUID and password
Your GUID (sometimes referred to as your username) originates from your entry in the Human Resources staff database and your password is known only to you. You can find your GUID and associated password by following our registration instructions.
Note: even if you already know your GUID you may need to register to access a GUID service.
Advantage
Your registered GUID (Glasgow Unique IDentifier) will reduce the number of user-ids and passwords you have to remember. We will gradually be adding other services and information about this will be communicated to users of the particular service before we add it.
In time your GUID and password should allow you to access most of the IT resources you will need.
