The book by Ewan Gibbs is up for Scottish History Book of the Year 2021
Congratulations to our Lecturer in Economic & Social History, Dr Ewan Gibbs, whose book, 'Coal Country' has been nominated for Scottish History Book of the Year at Scotland's National Book Awards 2021.
The Scottish National Book Awards have been awarded by the Saltire Society since 1937. All entrants must be born in Scotland, live in Scotland or their books must be about Scotland.
The winners will be announed at the ceremony in Waterstones, Glasgow on Saturday 27 November and will be live streamed. Tickets to watch online are available from the Saltire Society website.
