The Glasgow group in ZEUS has concentrated on studies of hard scattering processes high energy photoproduction, and properties of final states in Deep Inelastic Scattering Processes. Since 1995 I have led a programme of study into ``prompt" photons in photoproduction, in which a photon emerges at high energy, radiated off a quark which takes part in the basic scattering process.
We are currently working to finish the analysis for the entire HERA running.
I have been a member of the CDF collaboration since 2001
and took part in the first measurement of the B_C
meson mass in an exclusive decay mode.
On ATLAS I have taken part in an analysis of multiparton states and I am helping to prepare a proposed upgrade to the detector in which silicon detectors will be placed close to the beam line to detect diffractive processes and provide a new means of detecting exclusively produced particle states.
