Monday 11th November, 2013

During 2013, statisticians in all areas of life have been celebrating the International Year of Statistics. Here at the University of Glasgow, we have an upcoming series of talks from world-leading statisticians. They will provide an insight into some of the issues that statistics play a fundamental role in addressing. Please come along and celebrate the International Year of Statistics with us. Please note: Due to unforseen circumstances Professor Sir Ian Diamnod's talk on Statistics and Society has had to be postponed and will no longer take place on the evening of 26th November 2013.

Our next event in this series will be "Statistics and the Environment" by Professor Marian Scott, OBE, on Monday 9th December 2013 in the School of Mathematics & Statistics.
