SofTMech has successfully secured an EPSRC IAA grant of GBP46k, where postgraduate student Umberto Noe will conduct a six-month impact study on "Tracking biomarkers of heart attacks using a fast statistical emulator based on heart modelling and in vivo MRI" (led by Xiaoyu Luo, Dirk Husmeier, Hao Gao and Colin Berry).
The project will start on 1st October and will be in collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline.
