Graduate Award Winners 2011

We are pleased to anounce that six of our graduates were awarded prizes in recognition of their achievements as undergraduate students.

  • Craig Anderson was awarded both the RSS Prize and the Mercer Prize for the best Statistics graduate (shared).
  • Scott Browlie was awarded the Mercer Prize for the best Mathematics graduate
  • Katherine McDermott was awarded the Logan Prize for the most distinguished graduate in the College of Arts and the Herkless Prize for the best women graduate in the College of Arts.
    Katherine did a combined Honours degree in Mathematics and French.
  • Adam Samson was awarded the PSI Prize for the best Statistics final year project.
  • Paul Slevin was awarded the Ede and Ravencroft Prize (shared) for the most distinguished Science graduate.
  • Sonia Tarczalowicz was awarded the Mercer Prize for the best Statistics graduate (shared) and the Adam Smith Prize for the most distinguished graduate in Social Sciences.
