Homotopy 4-spheres and surgery on 2-tori

Abstract
Several recent papers have revived interest in the smooth counterpart to the Poincare conjecture in four dimensions (SPC4). We use the generalised log transform (torus surgery) procedure as a means to study SPC4 from various approaches.
