Abstract

I shall discuss the computation of pressure in small pulmonary arterial and venous tree which are connected with each other through a 2x2 admittance Matrix. The pressure and flow can be obtained by using some fundamental laws used in fluid mechanics. The focus of the talk will be the construction of structured trees of arteries and veins and linking them together to obtain a confluent network of vessels.
