Abstract

Given any finite group G and any finite dimensional representation V the skew group ring C[V]#G can be described explicitly as a quiver with relations, where the relations are obtained from the representation theory of G by differentiating a twisted superpotential. I shall outline this joint work with Bocklandt and Schedler, then explain how to use the result to enhance our geometrical understanding by calculating G-Hilb for some non-abelian groups.
