Ross Anderson is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh (LLB (Hons), PhD, Dip LP). He has previously worked at the Max-Planck-Institute for Foreign and Comparative Private Law in Hamburg, and he trained as a solicitor with Maclay, Murray & Spens LLP.
Research interests
Corporate & financial law; property law; the law of obligations; insolvency law; trust law; comparative law, particularly European private law; and legal history.
He is the Convenor of the Law Society of Scotland Sub-Committee on Obligations, a member of the Council of the Stair Society and a Visiting Professor at the Institute of Law, Jersey.
