- Health & Social Policy (Dumfries Campus)
- Primary Education with Teaching Qualification (Dumfries Campus)
Applied learning
We teach these subjects at the Dumfries Campus so that students can benefit from this unique location close to field study sites and relevant work placement providers.
For Environmental Stewardship students, we make great use of the local region as an 'outdoor classroom'. This means lots of field trips, great placement opportunities and close links to a range of environmental resources and stunning locations for field work.
Our Health & Social Policy team has developed close links with nearby health services, public sector policy-makers and third sector organisations, providing guest speakers and work placement opportunities.
Primary Education students benefit from our close relationship with Dumfries & Galloway Council Education Services, providing vital supported teaching placements at each level of study in schools across the region.
