Scottish History Eighteenth Century Reading Group (SHER)

The Scottish History Eighteenth Century Reading Group focuses on approaches to 18th century Scotland and explores main concepts and historical narratives that define the historiography on this period. We invite researchers to propose readings and discussion topics related to the broad subject or to simply come along and join the discussion.

The group meets fortnightly on Tuesdays 1-2PM (on-line for the time being) and the readings and discussion topics will be circulated in advance via email. For more information, contact Eliska Bujokova @ 2144731b@student.gla.ac.uk.

The first two meetings will be on:

  • 25 May 2021
