Fulbright Teacher Terry Walden shares her approach to teaching

Terry Walden is a recipient of the prestigious Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching Research currently embedded at the University of Glasgow, where she will pursue her own research projects as well as learning about and sharing educational practices with colleagues.

In the interview above, Terry talks about her approach to teaching and the importance of community partners and representation in the classroom.

In the second part of the interview (below), Terry talks about the idea behind her research in empowering parents to use civic engagement to change their lives and the lives of their children.
