Dawn Bennett
Dawn Bennett is Associate Professor, Senior Research Fellow and Director of the Creative Workforce Initiative at Curtin University in Perth, Australia. Her research interests include creative labour markets, identity development, music education, and research frameworks. Dawn has worked as a musician and academic in the UK, Australia and Canada. In 2010 she became an Australian Learning and Teaching Council Fellow with a project that investigates the role of identity development in student engagement. Dawn has authored over 60 publications including Understanding the Classical Music Profession (Ashgate, 2008).
