Invited lecture by Christina Young for ICON Scotland
We are delighted to share the news that Professor Christina Young, Director of the Kelvin Centre, has been invited to deliver the 26th Annual Plenderleith Memorial Lecture.
This lecture commemorates Dr Harold Plenderleith (1898-1997), art conservator and archaeologist, who contributed so much to the foundation of modern conservation. The event is a collaboration between Icon Scotland and Historic Environment Scotland.
Join Christina to learn more about the role of the Kelvin Centre within the wider context of conservation in Scotland today, including the Centre's work in promoting conservation as a profession.
The lecture takes place at The Engine Shed in Stirling on Thursday 30 November 2023 from 6.30-8.30pm. Held as a hybrid event, you can choose either to attend in-person or online.
