As part of their service as an employee benefit, we will on occasion provide fully anonymised and aggregated reports to your employer, to ensure they would never be able to identify an individual. How do I register for MoneyHealth?
You can now follow this link to register for the MoneyHealth platform. Ensure you are logged in using the VPN to access the online form. Registration is open to all colleagues until 8 November 2024.
How much does it cost?
It costs £6 per month to access the MoneyHealth.
Please note that registration for MoneyHealth grants access for a 12-month period, and by registering, you are agreeing to pay the monthly fee (£6) for this duration.
If you leave the University before this period ends, the University's Pay and Pensions team will deduct the remaining balance from your final pay and you will continue to have access for the remainder of the 12-month period.
I’ve signed up, what happens next?
You will receive an email asking you to claim your account.
You will then be able to register directly on Evelyn Partner's desktop via https://moneyhealth.evelyn.com/ or download the app through the Apple store and Android Google Play store. It may take up to 5 working days for you to receive this email. Registration takes just 90 seconds and during this time employees are matched with their very own financial coach who is right for their unique situation.
I'd like to cancel my registration. What steps should I take?
To cancel your registration on the MoneyHealth Platform within the initial 6-week sign-up window (ending on 8 July 2024), please access the sign-up form and select 'remove my sign-up'. This action will terminate your registration for the MoneyHealth platform during this initial period.
Please note that registration for the MoneyHealth platform otherwise grants access for a 12-month period, and by registering, you are agreeing to pay the monthly fee (£6) for this duration. If you leave the University before this period ends, the University's Pay and Pensions team will deduct the remaining balance from your final pay. Employees will have continued access to the platform while on leave, or if they’re moving to a new job. If the new employer doesn’t provide access to Moneyhealth, then employees will eventually lose access to their coach, but they can still use the rest of the platform and see any old messages.
What happens if my contract with the University ends before the 12-month period is up?
You would continue to have access, as the access period is for 12 months, it would mean the University would make an adjustment to your final salary payment by deducting any remaining balance due. E.g. If your contract of employment ended with six months remaining of the 12-month period, an adjustment of 6 x £6 would be deducted from your final salary by the University Payroll team.
What happens after the 12-month period?
The University has launched Moneyhealth as a Financial Wellbeing Service available to all colleagues on a provisional pilot basis for an initial period of 12 months. Its continuation will depend on the level of interest and engagement. We hope for strong participation from our colleagues, which could allow us to extend the service beyond the initial 12 months. If interest is low, the contract with Evelyn Partners will conclude naturally at the end of the period, and your monthly payments will stop. Evelyn Partners have confirmed that colleagues will still have access to their financial coach and the platform's resources for an additional 3 months after the end date to finalise any discussions.
The terms for continuing the service, including user fees beyond the initial 12 months, have not yet been determined. Updates will be provided to current users once these terms are established. Users who wish to extend their access will need to provide additional consent. Information about this process will be communicated before the current contract ends.

I am experiencing technical problems with the Moneyhealth platform, who can help?
Sorry to hear your experiencing technical difficulties. Please get in touch with Evelyn Partners via email at support@moneyhealth.evelyn.com
Do employees always speak to the same coach?
Yes, they do. We’ve found that the best way to help employees make progress and have a great experience is to build a relationship over time with a dedicated expert. We’ll likely have many different financial accounts, cards, products, and services throughout our financial life, but it’s rare to have more than one financial coach. If a coach leaves the company, the employee will be notified in advanced, and a new coach will be assigned to them. The new coach will introduce themselves and will be able to pick up where the previous coach left off as they will gain access to past messages.
Are the coaches a chat bot?
No, your Moneyhealth coach is a real person! Our financial lives are way too complex and unique for a bot to provide the support that we need, so we made sure that there’s always a real person helping you with your finances. We might send the occasional automated update, but rest assured your coach is always there ready to help whenever you need some support.
How do you match employees with a coach?
When registering on the Moneyhealth platform, we ask employees a few things to make sure that they’re matched with a coach that’s right for their situation. So, if you tell us that your goals are to save more, get on the property ladder, and start contributing to your pension, we’ll match you with a coach with specialisms in saving, mortgages, and pensions. On the other hand, if you want to plan for a family and start investing, you’ll be matched with a coach who specialises in protection and investment.
Whatever your goals, we’ll make sure you’re matched with an expert who can help you in the most effective way, but if there’s ever something that they don’t know, they’ll find a colleague who can jump in and help.
Are users being recommended products?
No. Our financial coaching service does not involve recommending specific financial products.
We focus solely on providing unbiased guidance, education, and support to help employees make informed financial decisions based on their unique circumstances and goals. Our goal is to empower our users with the knowledge, confidence, and skills necessary to manage their finances effectively.
We listen to you and give you options you might wish to consider so you can be armed with all the information you need to make informed decisions about your finances, both at home and at work Improving financial wellbeing is our top priority, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
How quickly will a coach respond?
With Moneyhealth you can ask detailed questions whenever you need to, and your coach will reply as soon as they can. Moneyhealth coaches will always get back to you within 48h, but it can be as quick as a few hours.
When it comes to our finances, we have found that instant answers are less important than making sure the responses you get are well-considered, insightful, and valuable.
How many people does a coach look after?
By utilising Open Banking and leveraging the latest technology, our coaches can now spend 100% of their time helping people. This means that they can help more people than ever before – sometimes as many as 10x more, without any drop in the personal support they deliver.
Can employees change their coach?
We work really hard to make sure that every coach is matched to the unique needs of every employee, but if things change, or if you feel like it’s not a good fit, we can swap you over to someone who’s more appropriate. All you need to do is visit the support section in the Moneyhealth platform or email us at support@moneyhealth.evelyn.com to make the request.
What is a financial coach?
Moneyhealth coaches are all professional financial advisers or financial planners, holding qualifications from the leading professional bodies in the UK – Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII) and the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI).
The majority of our coaches also hold additional specialist qualifications from other institutes, further demonstrating the incredibly high bar of knowledge, professionalism, and experience of the team.
Over half of our coaching team are in fact Chartered Financial Planners, which is the pinnacle of the personal finance profession and demonstrates years of full-time study and practical experience with clients.
Do the coaches provide financial advice?
No. Financial advice is a regulated activity which includes recommending specific products and services.
Moneyhealth’s financial coaches, who are all professional financial advisers or planners, help you to understand how things work, what your options are, the pros and cons of each solution and the various paths forward, but they do not recommend specific products. They are here to empower you to make an informed decision.
How should I prepare for my coaching call?
To get the most out of your coach calls, we recommend sending your coach a message through the app in advance to let them know if you would like to cover a specific topic, and asking them if there is anything they would like you to bring with you to the call.
For example, if you would like to discuss your retirement plans, it may be helpful to bring along your pension statement. If you’re not sure what you should bring, you can always ask your coach and they will be able to give some guidance on what you can prepare ahead of time!
Is Moneyhealth regulated?
Bippit Limited, Moneyhealth’s platform provider, is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as a Registered Account Information Service Provider (RAISP)
How do you protect data?
Bippit Limited, Moneyhealth’s platform provider, is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), is authorised, and regulated by the FCA, and uses bank-grade security.
How much information do the coaches see?
After employees have been matched with a coach, they will be able to see the information provided during registration, such as age, gender, and the goals that employees want to achieve.
This is the first step towards supporting everyone on their own unique journey.
If employees take a healthcheck or connect any financial accounts through Open Banking, their coach will be able to see some of these high-level details, to help them provide meaningful support. However, they will never see any specifics about individual transactions or spending habits.
What is Open Banking?
Open banking is a government mandated system that has forced every bank in the UK to give its customers control over their data for the very first time. Through this secure and encrypted system, your data can now be synchronised with other secure platforms, helping you access useful products and services.
You can think of Open Banking as a digitisation of taking your bank statements with you to meet a financial expert in person, only much easier.
How does Open Banking work?
To enhance some of Moneyhealth’s features (like automatic goal tracking and spending analysis), you can connect financial accounts via Open Banking using the platform’s trusted partner, TrueLayer.
Transaction information will then be securely encrypted and synchronised with bank-grade security on an ongoing basis unless you withdraw your consent.
Truelayer is one of the market leaders for Open Banking in Europe, powering household names like Revolut, Freetrade, and Nutmeg.
What financial accounts do you support?
Through the platform’s integration with Truelayer, Moneyhealth is able to connect to 99% of the UK’s current accounts, savings accounts, and credit cards.
Can I add details about my property, pension, and investments?
We are working hard on making ISA’s, Investment Accounts, Pensions, and Mortgages available to sync with the platform as well, but for the time being the details of any of these financial products can be entered manually.
Can Moneyhealth help with joint accounts/household finances?
Through the platform employees can always have conversations with their coach about household finances, and through the Open Banking system any joint accounts that they have access to can be added. Family members benefit from the resources available by accessing the Moneyhealth platform through the single sign on account or by joining the call with the coach to ask their own questions.
