Cans
The University has a sytem in place to recycle aluminium and tin cans.
Cans should be collected within buildings in the mixed recycling bins. These indoor bins and lining bags are available free from Estates & Buildings. Prior to placing in the recycling bin you should ensure that all the contents have been removed and that they have been suitably rinsed.
The contents of these indoor recycling bins are then transferred to dedicated external bins at various locations on campus. Arrangements for transferring the contents of the indoor bins to those located externally vary from building to building. Information on arrangements for your building can be obtained from your local Cleaning Supervisor or from Cleaning Services.
