Garscube – reminder for cyclists

An advisory to cyclists on the Garscube campus

Cyclists who use the University’s Garscube estate are reminded to be aware of the safety of pedestrians.

Signs on the campus clearly indicate that there is a speed limit of 10mph but feedback suggests that this is not always followed and that there have been some “near-misses” recently.

With the nights drawing in now that we are in autumn, safety on university grounds is an increasing concern and we would urge cyclists to take special care.
