R4's World Tonight visits University

BBC Radio 4’s The World Tonight programme will broadcast from the University of Glasgow on Wednesday 10 September 2014.

BBC Radio 4’s The World Tonight programme will broadcast from the University of Glasgow on Wednesday 10 September 2014. A special recording of the programme which will consider Scottish Independence will take place at the Charles Wilson Lecture Theatre and will feature a panel including journalist and broadcaster Lesley Riddoch; Pat Kane, former pop star now writer and entrepreneur and the journalist and blogger, Alex Massie.

The event will be chaired by World Tonight presenter Ritula Shah.

Doors open at 5.30 p.m. with the audience seated at the very latest by 6.30 p.m. The recording should finish by 7.45 p.m. The programme will be aired that evening on BBC Radio 4 at 10pm
