The University's staff and students are being urged to support EXPLORATHON on Friday 26 September.

Explorathon 2014 300 imageEXPLORATHON brings together researchers and the public for one night of discovery across Scotland. As part of European Researchers’ Night the cities of Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh will join more than 300 others celebrating the best innovation taking place acorss the continent.

Jamie Gallagher, the University's Public Engagemnent Officer says: "On Friday 26 September we’re shining a spotlight on our research and you're all welcome to join us.

"We’re taking over Glasgow Science Centre and providing free entry to everyone. There will be a special message all the way from the International Space Station in the IMAX cinema and a huge array of talks, debates and hands on fun late into the night.

It's all free so do come along but it's best to register."
