International Partnership Development Fund - application deadline Friday 28 November

Partnership development is a key element of our internationalisation strategy and the Senior Management Group is firmly committed to fostering its development. £60,000 funding is available each year to support staff engaged in partnership development, and those keen to develop new international collaborations.

For 2014-2015 funding is available, on a matched basis with Colleges, from the International Partnership Development Fund to support partnership building with international universities in key countries which will enhance our global reach and reputation. Funding applications to work with our existing partners are welcomed:

Projects will normally lead to some form of collaborative programme but may also include development of international curricula, joint PhDs, collaborative research, establishment of mobility or placement opportunities.

Awards from the IPDF normally do not exceed £5,000 per recipient but each application will be assessed on its own merit, further information including the application form is available here:

Successful applicants from this initial round of funding will be notified within two weeks of the closing date of Friday, 28 November 2014. To facilitate the most effective use of the fund, changes may be introduced in the next round of funding. If you would like to discuss a potential bid please contact Chris Yeomans, on extension 4918, or email:
