On Saturday 15 March, the University’s Senate Room was the venue for the first TEDxUniversity of Glasgow event.
The theme for the event was ‘Connectivity’ and a packed audience heard from 10 very different speakers on a variety of subjects ranging from diabetes research to digital cities.
Mel Young, co-founder of the Homeless World Cup rounded off the day with an inspirational talk about his idea of using sport to promote social cohesion and lift people out of homelessness.
