On Saturday 15 March, the University’s Senate Room was the venue for the first TEDxUniversity of Glasgow event

TEDXOn Saturday 15 March, the University’s Senate Room was the venue for the first TEDxUniversity of Glasgow event.

The theme for the event was ‘Connectivity’ and a packed audience heard from 10 very different speakers on a variety of subjects ranging from diabetes research to digital cities.

Mel Young, co-founder of the Homeless World Cup rounded off the day with an inspirational talk about his idea of using sport to promote social cohesion and lift people out of homelessness.
