The Campus Conversation - an informal Q&A with members of the senior management team - takes place on Tuesday 17 June in the Sir Charles Wilson building. Places still available.

Places are still available for the Campus Conversation event planned for Tuesday 17 June. The session is another chance for University staff to engage with the senior management team and to ask questions and raise issues that are important to them.

The Campus Conversation is being held in the Sir Charles Wilson building lecture theatre. It will run from 2pm until 3.30pm and staff will get the chance to hear from, and question, members of the University's senior leadership.

The host for this year's event is the writer and broadcaster, John Morrison.  John, a University of Glasgow graduate, has more than 20 years experience in the front line of television news reporting and has a reputation for asking the tough questions. He is a regular contributor to Gaelic radio and TV.‌

John Morrison, Campus Conversation 2014 hostFrom questions already lodged via the online registration system, topics are likely to range from the student experience to the development of the Gilmorehill Campus and from P and DR to online learning and teaching. The informal programme for the event included:

  • a Q and A session based on questions lodged by staff during the registration process and questions from the audience.
  • development of the University’s strategic plan including an invitation for contributions from the audience (Professor Neal Juster)
  • an informal presentation by Estates Director Ann Allen on the Campus Development Framework/Estate Strategy
  • the headline results of the 2014 University staff survey conducted by Capita presented by Director HR, Christine Barr

Places at the event are limited to about 200 and are being quickly taken up. You can register for the event, and also lodge a question for the panel, on the front page of the MyGlasgow Staff portal.

Once again this year there will be a prize draw for an iPad Mini (16GB Wi-Fi) for those who both register and attend on the day.

You can still watch or browse the September Campus Conversation on the Information for Staff portal.
