Sound Thought Conference logoSound Thought 2014 will take place in Glasgow’s renowned Centre for Contemporary Arts from January 10th–12th 2014 and will provide a platform for postgraduate music students to present their work to an academic audience and an engaged public.

The conference will present research and practice from a range of sound and music disciplines in an environment which contrasts, relates, and contextualises them. The event will engage the public with music research from across the UK and promote understanding of the research field as well as enhance the research environment at the university through interdisciplinary and inter-institutional collaboration.

A final publication from the event will be produced in collaboration with The University of Glasgow’s peer reviewed postgraduate journal eSharp.
