The University's Learning and Teaching strategy is currently being revised

The University's Learning and Teaching strategy is currently being revised and a new strategy document for the next five years will be presented to Court for approval in 2015.

Professor Frank Coton Vice Principal (Learning & Teaching) is now seeking views from staff on the new strategy. This is an opportunity for a root and branch review of our learning and teaching objectives for the next five year period and beyond, in line with the guiding principles in the overall University strategy.

A first series of open meetings has been held with academic and administrative staff in the four Colleges and full notes of the meetings are available here:

https://sharepoint.gla.ac.uk/services/vplearningteaching/SitePages/Home.aspx

All staff will also have the opportunity to input to the draft strategy document, which will be made available on this site. Another series of open staff meetings is planned between 6-13 March 2015 (exact timings to be advised) to discuss the final shape of the strategy document.

If you follow the link above, you can get the opportunity to submit a comment on any of the issues already highlighted in the notes of meetings or on anything new that you would like the team to consider as the University develops the new strategy.

Alternatively, you can send your comments by email to frank.coton@glasgow.ac.uk
